With strong system development skills, KGIS is able to plan, design and manufacture to industry compliance standards as well as to customers-specific requirements for all projects undertaken.

Our design process encompasses 3 distinct stages of development;
Requirements Capture
During the initial design stage we work closely with you to ensure your technical needs are met fully. This begins with a detailed briefing to establish the following specifications:
Product specification definitions |
Choice of technology |
Design complexity and mode of operation |
Interfaces and expansion capability |
Functional, operational and environmental requirements |
Target volume |
Budget, design and procurement lead times |
Preliminary System Design
The second stage of our design process is the Preliminary System Design.
During this stage we consider the following criteria:
Operational and performance compliance standards, |
Product options and features, configuration, functionality and compatibility, |
Environmental and human factors, system and subsystem test strategy and data security. |
Manufacturing timescales, product form and fit |
Final System Design
The third section of our design process is design verification and testing which encompasses the following areas:
Product usability and interfaces, |
Trials, demonstration and proving, |
Certification and approval, including submission of final design support documents |

A structured approach to achieving product safety and reliability is a key factor in KGIS's choice of design, technology and manufacturing techniques.
By conducting a RAMS analysis we are able to take into account a range of end products characteristics, such as physical, electrical, EMC / EMI and reliability, availability and maintainability standards. Through continual monitoring of the RAMS parameters during the product development phase, KGIS is able to ensure a high performing end product.
